Me and my family:
My name is Alvin Prakash, and I am currently a senior at Roosevelt High School in Portland Oregon. Next year I will be going to Portland Community College to major in Radiological Technology. My future long term goal is to be employed by a major hospital in the northwestern part of the United States. The following paragraphs gives you a breif summary of my entire family and the important moments they had in their lives.
During the past eight years our family has been through many difficult times since we moved to America from a small island in the South Pacific called Fiji.
We came to America in 1994 and about 4 years later my 10 year old brother was diagnosed with brain tumor. Not just one but two tumors. He underwent three surgerys and lost many of his brain cells, which led him to a eighteen month coma, he then later went to be with the Lord at the age of twelve on July 1st 1999.
After this tragic lost we have had two new additions to our family. Currently I have a two year old sister named Ayesha Shannon Prakash, inhereting my brothers middle name. And our newest member in our family, my 4 month old baby brother Ayush Shanual Prakash, inhereting my middle name.
Altoghter we have five people in out family.
Amendra Prakash (DAD), Urmila Prakash (MOM), Alvin Prakash, Ayesha Prakash, and Ayush Prakash. But Ashnil Prakash will continually live in our hearts for the rest of our lives.

The History or Story Behind My Site:
My main purpose was to design a web site that would be dedicated to my baby brother Ashnil Shannon Prakash. (April 9th 1989-July 1st 1999).
During the time that he was sick. HBO did a documentary on him called "MIRACLES." If you look at the PHOTOS PAGE you will find a picture of him on a wheelchair with my dad, mom, and me in the background.
Involvement:
My family is greatly involved in helping me build and enhance my website so that it stays up and running. We will be providing new information every month, including pictures and updates to the Slide Show.
